The discovery of a new dish does more for the happiness of mankind than the discovery of a star. -- Anthelme Brillat-Savarin --
HOWDY! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday filled with family, friends & lots of good food. I just had to take a minute to stop by and share a new recipe. I had something like this recently, and liked it so much that I made some of my own for our Thanksgiving dinner. There's no exact recipe...just three ingredients...in whatever amounts suit your taste.
- black grapes (seedless)
- raw broccoli florets (broken into bite-sized pieces)
- poppy seed dressing (use your favorite...mine is Brianna's Home Style)
Mix everything in a bowl, and toss together until grapes and broccoli are coated with the dressing. Serve in a pretty bowl, and enjoy!
(I think it would be good with some sunflower seeds or candied pecans tossed in as well. I may try that next time. Hmmm...crumbled bacon might be good too...)
Super simple, nutritious and oh so good! I hope you'll give it a try, and let me know what you think!
Blessings,
