I've been a cookbook collector for years, but I recently inherited more cookbooks than I'll ever have opportunity to use. Sooooo...I decided I'm going to start trying out some of these recipes. Come join me and we'll see where this leads. ;-)
HOWDY! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday filled with family, friends & lots of good food. I just had to take a minute to stop by and share a new recipe. I had something like this recently, and liked it so much that I made some of my own for our Thanksgiving dinner. There's no exact recipe...just three ingredients...in whatever amounts suit your taste.
black grapes (seedless)
raw broccoli florets (broken into bite-sized pieces)
Mix everything in a bowl, and toss together until grapes and broccoli are coated with the dressing. Serve in a pretty bowl, and enjoy! (I think it would be good with some sunflower seeds or candied pecans tossed in as well. I may try that next time. Hmmm...crumbled bacon might be good too...) Super simple, nutritious and oh so good! I hope you'll give it a try, and let me know what you think! Blessings, --Faithy
